Founder of International Sri Deep Madhavananda Ashram Fellowship Sri Swami Madhavananda World Peace Council Author of the System "Yoga in Daily Life" Born in 1945, His Holiness Swamiji originates from Rajasthan, India and has resided in Vienna, Austria since 1972. He is a world-renowned spiritual leader and Mahamandaleshwar of the Maha Nirvani Akhara, India (equivalent to Bishop). He has dedicated his life to help humanity via the principles and practices of Yoga and the ancient spiritual heritage of Sat Sanatana Dharma. He has developed the scientific master-system »Yoga In Daily Life« a method to achieve optimum health, harmony, inner peace and spiritual development. This system is established in countries all over the globe and promotes the principles of physical, mental, social and spiritual health. Furthermore, His Holiness Swamiji advocates respect for all life, as well as tolerance, respect and understanding towards all religions, cultures and nations. For the past 40 years His Holiness Swamiji has pioneered interfaith dialogues and meetings throughout Europe, Australia, India, New Zealand, Canada and America, in order to establish global harmony amongst religions and nations. Most recently, the President of Croatia Mr. Stjepan Mesic, awarded His Holiness Swamiji with the highest humanitarian acknowledgement from Croatia „The Order of Croatian Danica with the image of Katarina Zrinska“ in recognition of Swamiji’s altruistic endeavours for the sake of humanity. His Holiness, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Maheshwarananda is an active humanitarian who initiates and conducts various aid projects, one of the largest being a Spiritual Education and Environmental Sustainability Centre in the desert region of Rajasthan, India servicing local communities through projects that include Rainwater Harvesting, Reforestation, Education for Rural Children and the establishment of Women’s Health and Education programs.
